What is the release date for High school DxD Season 5?

High School DxD Season 5 is not officially confirmed by the original creators of the series yet, but it’s in development according to the author of the light novel Ichiei Ishibumi according to a few unofficial news reports.

It is expected to be released at the end of July 2023 on AT-X in Japan and Funimation in the United States.

The upcoming season will have 12 episodes, each with a running duration of 22 mins. The fifth season of High School DxD 5 of High School DxD was originally scheduled to be released in the month of November 2021, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the release was delayed until 2023.

The first anime adaptation premiered in 2012 and garnered huge popularity, pushing animators to produce additional 3rd, 2nd and fourth seasons, which premiered in 2013, 2015, and in 2018.
