Madonna has postponed her “Celebration” tour due to a serious bacterial infection, according to Guy Oseary who announced it via Instagram on Wednesday, June 28.

Oseary reported that Madonna became infected on Saturday, June 24 and required several days in intensive care unit (ICU). According to him, she has made progress while under medical attention but remains critical.

Oseary said he will share more details regarding rescheduled dates as soon as they have them.

Madonna is no stranger to having to postpone tours due to health reasons; she had to cancel the European leg of her MDNA tour due to an infection and respiratory illness in 2012.
