Movies Suspended Due To Coronavirus: “Be Responsible, Stay Safe”

New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor, on Saturday, shared a report on Twitter saying that the shoot of his up and coming film Jersey has been suspended because of the flare-up of coronavirus. The Kabir Singh on-screen character likewise composed that the move has been made as a prudent step to contain the spread of coronavirus.

The 39-year-old on-screen character stated, “At a time like this it is our social duty to do everything in our ability to control the spread of this infection. Group Jersey is suspending shoot in order to empower all unit individuals to be with their families and in the wellbeing of their homes.

Be capable. Remain safe.” Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Jersey stars Shahid’s dad Pankaj Kapur in the job of Shahid’s coach. The film was scheduled for an August 28 discharge.

As per another report by Taran Adarsh, Salman Khan’s worldwide occasion Up Close And Personal With Salman Khan, that was planned for the United States and Canada from April 3 to April 12, has been deferred.

As multiple states including Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir shut down movie theatres, the release of Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop drama Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar in the titular role, has been postponed. The makers and the cast released a statement on their respective Instagram profiles on Friday.
