Irrfan Khan Passes Away

On-screen character Irrfan Khan, most popular for his jobs in films like ‘Angrezi Medium’, ‘Hindi Medium’ and ‘Maqbool’ spent away on Wednesday. The on-screen character had been unwell for quite a while. Not long ago, he was hospitalized subsequent to being determined to have colon disease.

The ‘Maqbool’ entertainer was known for his abilities and was additionally named as India’s face in the West. Khan had been determined to have neuroendocrine tumor in 2018 and had lost his mom in Jaipur three days back. He was admitted to the emergency unit the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital with a colon disease.

Khan was born Saahabzaade Irfan Ali Khan in Jaipur in 1966, the son of a tyre seller, and went to drama school after failing as a cricketer.

He struggled to make headway in the film industry, despite being cast in a small role as a letter writer in Mira Nair’s 1988 Salaam Bombay! – to his frustration he only managed to find regular work in low-grade TV soap operas.

His movie credits include internationally acclaimed offerings such as The Lunchbox and the Hollywood blockbuster Jurassic World.
